The Churchill Community Festival is to be held on 19th March 2016 at several sites in Churchill.
All are welcome to come and enjoy a special day of activities with great food and a friendly atmosphere. Churchill has a lot to offer, come and see our fantastic town on show!
Community Festival 10.00 – 3.00 in and around the Churchill Community Hub, Philip Parade. Activities will include: skate park workshops and competition, marimba workshops, jumping castle, gumboot throwing, painting & planting, quilting machine demonstrations and patchwork exhibition, community garden art display and plant stall, music, devonshire tea, BBQ, blender bike, cake stall, giant board games, carpet bowls, hockey demonstrations, CFA truck, Beans the Clown and balloon sculptures, Instagram photo competition, henna painting and more! Most activities will be free.
Skateboard workshops and competitions – 10am – 3pm, Churchill Skate Park, Philip Parade.
Mower Racing 10.00 – 2.30 next to the Churchill Hotel. VicMow will be providing affordable family friendly entertainment for both the competitors and the local community.
Churchill Community Market 8.30 – 1.30 at the Churchill Hotel carpark. Over 45 stalls selling local produce, organic foods, jams and preservatives, arts and crafts etc.
